Bibiani GoldStars CEO Kwasi Adu has expressed optimism about the state of Ghana football, saying his team’s performance against Asante Kotoko in the Champions of Champions Cup is evidence of steady improvement in the local game.
GoldStars narrowly lost 1-0 to Kotoko in the 2025 Champion of Champions clash at Dun’s Park, but their spirited showing drew praise from fans and football stakeholders alike.
Speaking after the match, Kwasi Adu said the quality of play on display was encouraging for the future of Ghanaian football.
“It shows that Ghana football is reviving,” he noted. “The level of competition, the energy and the excitement from both teams are signs that the game is moving forward.”
