Sunyani West NPP loyalists hold delegates’ conference

About 400 New Patriotic Party (NPP) loyalists in the Sunyani West constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region on Tuesday 27 June participated in the party’s delegates’ conference held at Fiapre.

The conference was aimed at addressing some of the challenges the party faces in the constituency and the way forward.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani West, Ignatius Baffour Awuah, who is also Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, charged party supporters to unite and forge ahead for the development of the constituency.

He urged them to bury their differences and solidly rally behind the Municipal Chief Executive (DCE), Martin Obeng, to be able to successfully execute his task.

The constituency chairman for Sunyani West NPP, Kusi Boadum, entreated party supporters to eschew corruption and greed which could be disastrous for the party.

He charged delegates to maintain the confidence and the zeal they had that brought victory to NPP.

The congress brought together patrons, Council of Elders, and 300 delegates from the Sunyani West constituency.
