Sunyani students commend NDC executives

Sunyani, Jan. 19, GNA – The Sunyani Polytechnic Branch of the Tertiary Education Institutional Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated the new executives who were elected at the party’s8th national delegates’ congress held in Tamale. “We also congratulate the party leadership, delegates and all stakeholders who made the 8th delegates congress a success”, the student body said in a statement jointly signed by Mr Samuel Laari and Israel Adjetey, President and Secretary respectively. The statement expressed the hope that the new executives would pursue the spirit of unity to move the party forward. It appreciated the efforts made by all other contestants in their quest to serve the party in the various positions, indicating the NDC had “defied all odds and has shown maturity in the values of democracy”. The statement stressed that the peaceful nature of the congress had shown that the NDC “stands tall” in terms of internal democracy among all political parties in Ghana. 19 Jan 10
