Sunyani East MP renovated borehole for Nkwabeng South

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East, Hon. Ameyaw Cheremeh, has renovated a borehole at a cost of GHc1000 for the people Nkwabeng South.

The poor state of the borehole came to light during one of the regular community meetings the MP has been holding with his constituents since he went to parliament.

Handing over the renovated facility, Hon. Ameyaw Cheremeh urged the people to properly maintain it and also suggested to them to find appropriate ways of generating revenue from the facility to enable them use the proceeds for maintenance. The MP also pledged to provide a tank to store enough water to serve a wider community.

Receiving the receiving the renovated borehole, the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Francis Osei Mensah, thanked the MP and assured him that the people would maintain it to justify the resources sunk into the renovation. He noted that the people in the community are particularly glad at the prompt response from the MP when they told him about the poor state of the borehole which was then a source of great worry.
