Successful police candidates are to report

Accra, June 13, GNA – The Police on Tuesday said candidates who were successful in the recent enlistment exercise for drivers, motor and horse riders should report to the Commanding Officer, National Police Training School on Monday, June 19 2006 at 0800 hours after which they would report to the following centres for their practical tests, a statement issued in Accra said.

It said successful drivers were to report to the Commanding Officer/Defence Mechanical Transport at Burma Camp, Accra while Motor Riders should report to the Commanding Officer Central MTTU, Accra. All Horse Riders should also report to the Officer Commanding/Police Mounted Squadron, Accra, the statement said. The candidates are to come along with their licences (both drivers and motor riders) with 100,000 cedis.

The statement signed by Superintendent of Police, David Eklu said practical test would be conducted for them from June 19 for five days so all candidates should therefore, prepare to stay for that period. “For more information, please call the Commanding Officer National Police Training School on telephone number 021-223324 or the Police Public Affairs on 021-779434 or 021-777428.”
