Students of Aduman to sign bonds in presence of parents

Mamponteng (Ash), Oct 29, GNA – All students of Aduman Secondary School in the Kwabre District are to sign bonds to be of good behaviour for the rest of their stay in the school.

This undertaking is to be endorsed by their parents or guardians in the presence of the school authorities.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Kwabre District Chief Executive, Alhaji Ahmed Akwasi Yeboah, on Wednesday to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the school.

The school was closed down on October 7 following student demonstrations.

The statement also requested the masters to resume work to enable academic work to continue as planned.

The statement cautioned all students to settle all outstanding fees and bills on the re-opening day, adding that the fees and bills are to be paid to the school accountant.

Alhaji Yeboah, chairman of the District Education Oversight Committee in consultation with the District Directorate of Education ordered the re-opening of the school on October 28, 2003.
