Mr Alex Kwaku Korankye, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, asked teachers to make the teaching of science and mathematics attractive and simple to enable students to study the subjects with ease.

He said: “The way some teachers handle these subjects is not the best as they make them look so scary and difficult to understand.” The District STME Organiser, Madam Theresa Badu-Senya, noted that this year’s clinic was unique because the participants were able to make a sitting room stuffing chair and center table with glass.

She said apart from lectures and talks, the students undertook educational and industrial visits where they had the opportunity to try their hands on some tools.
