Students donate blood to save accident victims

Winneba, May 25, GNA 97 Students of the Winneba Community Health Nurses Training School (WCHNTS) on Tuesday donated 60 pints of blood to the Winneba Government Hospital. The donation formed part of activities marking the Celebration of the Students Representative Council/Alumni Week, Mr Paul Larrey, secretary of the Organising Committee, told the GNA. He said the hospital, Ozons Chemist and Cowbell and Onga Companies at Cape Coast, sponsors of the programme, presented the donors with Milo, 360 bottles of blood tonics and Cowbell Milk. The students had earlier on Monday undertaken a clean up exercise at Winneba Junction and the main lorry station in Winneba where they swept and de-silted gutters.
