Student stabs colleague to death

Assin Foso (C/R), July 10, GNA – Gideon Antwi Bosiako, a first-year student of Saint Andrews Senior High School at Assin-Foso was allegedly stabbed to death on Monday by a colleague, with whom he shared a room in the town.

Osei Gyamfi, also a student at the same school, allegedly stabbed Bosiako several times with a knife, following a quarrel between the two after the deceased reportedly demanded the repayment of GHc7.00 he lent him, according to the proprietor of the school, Mr Richard Asiedu. Gyamfi has since been on the run. The Assin-Foso police confirmed the incident and said they were investigating.
