Striking CLOGSAG leaders to sign MOU with government

Leaders of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana are meeting the Employment Minister Haruna Iddrisu today.

They are expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at ending their two-week old strike over the nonpayment of their interim premium allowances.

They are returning to the negotiating table based on a Presidential advice for their request to be considered next year.

Public Relations Officer for CLOGSAG, Edmund Acquaye, told Starr News “CLOGSAG members are unhappy about the way things are going. They have not been treated with that fairness and equity and it’s rather unfair but all the same government know the issue and it’s on their table”.
