Strike action has affected our academic work

Tarkwa (W/R), Oct 28, GNA – Students of Tarkwa and Fiaseman Secondary Schools have appealed to the government to find solution to National association of graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) strike action because it was affecting their academic work.

This was contained in a petition signed by two senior prefects, Seth Adjei and Ernest Acquah of Tarkwa and Fiaseman Secondary schools, respectively.

It said the Students’ Representative Councils of both schools wish to inform the government about the decision they took at a joint meeting of the Councils concerning the strike action by NAGRAT. The petition said the strike action had really affected the academic work, especially, final year students, who were preparing towards the final examination.

It said if the strike action continued, it would adversely affect their performance and therefore appealed to the government to help resolve the problem as soon as possible.
