Stratcomm Africa launches new initiative

Strategic Communications Africa (Stratcomm Africa) has launched a new entrepreneurial initiative dubbed: “Our Story, Your Story-A Vision Pursued,” as part of its 20th Anniversary celebration in Accra.

The initiative will showcase and tell the stories of successful entrepreneurs in order to encourage the spirit of enterprise in Ghana and inspire young people who aspire to be entrepreneurs.

Mr. Ramy Baiti, Head of Corporate Affairs, UT Group, commended Stratcomm Africa for boosting entrepreneurial spirit among Ghanaians.

He however urged them to continue the effort to instill hope in Ghanaians to pursue their dreams.

Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa, Ms Esther A. N. Cobbah, thanked the media for their support for the initiative.

Ms. Cobbah said experience all over the world taught that the creativity and determination of entrepreneurs were critical for bringing about improvement to the livelihood of the whole society.

She said Ghanaians must therefore aim to be a country in which entrepreneurship is respected and emulated.

As part of the programme inspiring stories have been gathered from a number of Ghanaian Entrepreneurs which will be broadcasted.

Entrepreneurs such as Ms Mabel Simpson, Chief Executive Officer Msimps Accessories and Mr. Fred Deegbe Junior, Chief Executive Officer Heel the World Shoes were at the function and toldl their stories.

Also present at the occasion were Japanese Ambassador in Ghana, Mr Karou Yoshimura, Mr. James Asare-Adjei, President, Association of Ghana Industries and Rev. Eddie Adiamah, Head Pastor, Lighthouse Chapel Int. Bubuashie branch.
