Stratcomm Africa congratulates IPR executives

Strategic Communications Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa) on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on the Executive Council of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) to congratulate the newly elected executives.

Ms Esther A. N. Cobbah, the Chief Executive Officer, Stratcomm Africa, said the visit was also to thank IPR for the awards it gave to the CEO and two clients of Stratcomm Africa during the 2014 IPR Excellence Awards.

Ms Cobbah said Stratcomm Africa was encouraged by the awards.

Mrs Elaine Sam Kwami, President of IPR, said the institute appreciated the visit and gave the assurance that the executives would work effectively towards the realisation of the objectives of the institute.

Mrs Kwami acknowledged the exemplary role Stratcomm Africa had played in raising the image of communications as a profession in Ghana.

Ms Gillian Heathcote, General Manager for Communications, Stratcomm Africa, thanked the IPR Executive Council for the warm reception and commended IPR for providing a professional structure to guide the practice of the profession.

Stratcomm Africa was awarded the Public Relations Company of the year 2013 and its CEO was awarded the Public Relations Personality of the same year at the 2014 IPR Excellence Awards.
