Stop campaigning and work – Lawra Naa to government

The Paramount Chief of the Lawra Traditional Area Naa Puowele Karbo III says the government must disengage from the campaign mode and move into action mode as time for talking is over.

Speaking during a courtesy call on him by the Upper West Regional Minister Suleiman Alhassan on Thursday, Naa Karbo says after 100 days of being in power, it is now time for the government to stop speaking as if they are in the campaign season and rather focus on delivering the numerous campaign promises they gave to the people during the elections.

According to him as the president has indicated that he is a president in a hurry, his appointees must ensure that the promises made to the people are fulfilled as soon as possible.

On the campaign promise of providing each district with a factory, Naa Karbo said people should not mistake the factory to mean a huge edifice but that smaller factories in the forms of soap making factories in the communities can be encouraged.
