Stop blaming government – MCE

The New Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dr Kwaku Owusu Acheampong, has pleaded with Ghanaians to stop pointing accusing fingers at the government whenever they face challenges.

Dr Acheampong made this statement at the commissioning of a four-unit classroom block, an office, two washrooms, a store, and a renovated two-unit classroom, at a cost of GH¢ 129.423, at the Saint Annes Anglican Nursery School at Nsukwao, a suburb of Koforidua.

The MCE commended the contractor for completing the project on time, and urged the teachers to put in more efforts, to give the kids the needed foundation for further studies.

He advised the teachers against the sacking of pupils for teacher’s motivation, because it was an agreement between the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and the school.

Reverend Father Peter Kwesi Otoo, Eastern Regional Director of the Anglican Education Unit, who received the keys to the new block, expressed his satisfaction at the project, and promised that the building will be used for its intended purposes.
