“Stolen baby found after 45 years”, says a P and P front page headline.

The paper says when Auntie Betty, a 60-year-old woman allegedly stole a two-and-a-half year-old baby girl from her biological mother way back in 1953, little did she know that her diabolical deed would come to light one day.

The P and P says as fate would have it, the relatives of the child, Felicia Mensah, who is now 48 and a mother of three, have finally found their lost one and reunited with her.

According to the paper, residents of Zagbon Zongo at Akim New Tafo, in the Eastern Region, where Felicia Mensah lives with her supposed mother, Auntie Betty, they are lost as to how she managed to steal the baby. What is bogging the mind of the residents is how she managed to keep her diabolic act to herself for all these years.

The P and P quotes the Akim Tafo Police as confirming the story saying investigations into the alleged child-theft are still going on.
