Statement: Celebration of the life of Nelson Mandela in Ghana

The South African High Commission in Ghana is proud to announce that this Saturday 14 December 2013 at 11:00am a Commemorative Event will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre to celebrate the Life and Times of Nelson Mandela.

Former President Nelson Mandela dedicated his entire life to serving humanity with a view to creating a better world for all- it is for this reason that we as Africans have to celebrate this son of Africa. His good deeds of promoting peace on the continent and building of a Childrens Hospital for those from across the continent who do not have life saving diagnostic machines; to promoting education through the Nelson Mandela Foundation are legendary.

It is for this reason that we will get together at the AICC to celebrate the fight he so fearlessly led against human rights abuses and other societal ills. Join us as we say “Rest in Peace” to this courageous African.

All are invited! Lets continue his struggle for a better world!
