Stanbic Bank holds carols concert

Stanbic Bank has organised a carol concert and thanksgiving service to underscore the goodness of God and to usher staff into the Christmas season.

The event, which featured choirs from the various departments of the bank and other seasoned guest artists, groups and singers, treated the audience to carols and praise songs to spiritually uplift them.

The nine scripture lessons, focusing on the birth of Jesus Christ, and taken from the books, including Genesis, Luke and John were rendered by staff in French, Dagbani, Chinese, German, Akan and Ewe as well as English

The evergreen Joyfulway incorporated gave rendition of their popular songs while group after group held the large crowd in the ballroom of the Movenpick Hotel seeking for more.

Mr Michal Charway, President Joyfulway Incorporated and staff of the bank, in an exhortation urged Ghanaians not to lose touch of the importance of the Christmas season as it is God’s single act to bring restoration to mankind.

He said the birth of Christ in a manger was a demonstration of the humility and the assurance that God is living among us.

He appealed to staff to support others during the festive season.

Mr Alhassan Andani, Chief Executive Officer Stanbic, appreciated God’s kindness during 2014 and encouraged the staff to continue to work hard.
