Stan Dogbe opens up on ‘attack’ by NDC footsoldiers

Presidential Staffer Stan Dogbe has denied being physically attacked by angry NDC supporters contrary to what media reports suggest.

Stan Dobge was reportedly mobbed by angry supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on Thursday, after outgoing President John Dramani Mahama had ended his presentation of the State of the Nation Address.

Reports emerging suggested that but for the timely intervention of some police men around to prevent the irate crowd from harming him or vandalizing his car, Mr. Dobge would have been hurt.

In a post on his facebook wall Friday Morning, the Presidential Staffer assured Ghanaians that he did not suffer any physical attack as media reports depict, rather he said, it was a mere effort by a group of people including some NDC supporters to get “something small”, from himself and a colleague after the event. He added that insults followed after the crowd realized they were not in a position to give any monies out, an act he described as “part of the hazards of the job”
