St Roses Old Students Association initiates projects

The St Roses Senior-High School Old Students Association is to put up a two-bedroom staff bungalow for their alma mater.

The association is also to build infirmary for the sick and also tackle the water and the drying lines projects of the school.

Mrs Grace Brew, National President of the association, disclosed this at a Thanksgiving Service to climax the 50th Anniversary celebration of the school in Accra.

She said the projects which would be executed in phases, would be financed through voluntary contributions and fundraising activities.

Mrs Brew said the association had also instituted scholarship awards for students who excelled in academic work.

She said the association had also adopted a ward at the Princess Marie Louis Hospital in Accra as their contribution towards health development.

Mrs Brew urged the students to take up their lessons seriously and also desist from all forms of negative tendencies that may ruin their future.
