Acherensua (B/A) April 7, GNA – A 60-member school cadet corps of Acherensua Secondary School in Asutifi District of Brong Ahafo has been inaugurated with a warning to members not to terrorise their colleagues on campus.
Lieutenant Dickson Okai, who inaugurated the corps on behalf of the Commanding Officer of the Third Battalion of Infantry in Sunyani and gave the warning commended members for their smart turn-out and advised them to be disciplined to be able to achieve their academic goals. Mr. A.A. Adigah, Headmaster, commended the school’s social studies tutor Mr. Kofi Mensah, for mooting the idea for the formation of the corps and organising it.
The headmaster expressed appreciation to the MP for the area, Mrs. Cecilia Gyan Amoah, for providing accommodation and feeding for trainers of the corps.
Among those present was Mr. Kwaku Balado Manu, MP for Ahafo-Ano South.
