SSCE examinations start smoothly at Ho

Ho, July 15, GNA- The Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSSCE) started smoothly at all the four main centres visited by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Ho on Tuesday.

OLA Secondary School has two centres one for candidates from OLA and the other for Tanyigbe Secondary, all totalling 319.

Mr Samuel Andzi-Quainoo the Supervisor at the centre told the GNA that everything had gone on well and the arrangements to lift examination materials from the Regional Office of the Examinations Council was smooth.

Mawuli School, which is putting up 575 candidates for the examination, is also hosting a centre for 39 candidates from Sokode Secondary Technical School.

Mr Ernest Nuglo, the Supervisor, said he was optimistic that there would be on incident at the centres.

Officials of the Regional Offices of WAEC and the Ghana Education Service (GES) could not tell the GNA the number of candidates taking the examinations in the region.
