SRI credit union donates books to school

Kumasi, May 26, GNA – The Soil Research Institute (SRI) Credit Union at Kwadaso in Kumasi has donated books worth five million cedis to the Nsima Agric Junior Secondary School.

Mr Julius Addo-Tham, the union’s chairman who presented the books, said the donation formed part of its social responsibility programme. He said it was the desire of the union to assist institutions within its catchments area, hence the donation to the school.

Mrs Mabel Arthur, the Headmistress of the school, expressed gratitude to the union for the donation.
