Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Kofi Adams, has lauded actor and football entrepreneur Yaw Dabo for his growing impact on youth development through the Dabo Soccer Academy.
The minister met Dabo on Thursday, using the occasion to commend his dedication to discovering and nurturing young footballers across the country.
Adams noted that the academy’s work aligns with government efforts to expand grassroots football and create pathways for young talents to develop professionally. He also praised Dabo’s personal commitment, describing it as an example of how private initiatives can complement national sports development.
Yaw Dabo, whose academy has gained international attention, expressed gratitude for the minister’s endorsement and reaffirmed his mission to support young players with training, education and exposure.
The meeting is seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and stakeholders working to advance youth football in Ghana.
