Speed up expansion works at Kumasi Airport – Otumfuo

Kumasi, Jan 27, GNA – The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, says the board and management of the Ghana Airports Company (GAC) should have no further excuses to delay expansion works at the Kumasi Airport to raise its status to international standard.

This is because all challenges in respect of land acquisition for expansion of the facility had been resolved.

He said it was up to the board and management to take immediate steps to commence the project.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu said this when members of the board of directors of the GAC paid a courtesy call on him at his Manhyia palace in Kumasi.

The Asantehene said with the growing volume of passengers and air traffic at the Kumasi Airport, it had become imperative to increase the infrastructural facilities to ensure 24-hours
