Special voting going on in the Atwima-Kwanwoma and Bosomtwe

Kuntanase (Ash), Dec. 4, GNA – The Special Voting in the Atwima-Kwanwoma and Bosomtwe Constituencies in Ashanti started smoothly without any problem.

At the Twedie Police Polling Station about 50 election officials, Police personnel and other election observers cast their votes by 1400 hours compared to the expected 55 voters from the Atwima-Kwanwoma constituency.

At the Kuntanase Police Station Polling Centre, 170 out of 182 security personnel, election officials and observers had by 1515 hours cast their votes.

At both constituencies, representatives of the National Democratic Congress, New Patriotic Party, People’s National Convention, Convention People’s Party and Independent Candidates were present to observe the election.

Later in an interview with the GNA, Mr Joshua Ofori Prempeh, Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District Electoral Officer, said 805 election officials and 794 party and candidates agents had been trained for Election 2004 on Tuesday December 7 2004. 4 Dec. 04
