Speaker leads Parliamentary delegation to Algeria

Accra, Sept. 20. GNA – The Speaker of Parliament, Mr Peter Ala Adjetey, left Accra on Friday at the head of an eight member Parliamentary delegation to Algeria.

Other members of the delegation, which is on a reciprocal visit to the Algerian National Assembly are, Mr Felix Owusu Agyepong, Majority Leader and Minster of Presidential Affair, Mr Samuel Nkansah Gyimah, Mr Paul Collin Appiah Ofori, Mr Isaac Kwabenba Nyame Ofori, Mr Richard Acheampong, Protocol Officer and Mr. Kenneth Tekyi, Clerk to Parliament.

During the visit, the Speaker would hold talks with his Algerian counterpart and Mr. Abdelaziz Belkhaden, Minster of State in-charge of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation will return on September 27, 2003.
