Vielung Kwadwo Bagbin, son of Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, was crowned the Overall Best Student at North Hills International School during its annual awards ceremony on Friday, July 4, 2025.
The Year 9 graduate was honored for his academic excellence, emerging as the top-performing student among his peers. The recognition, a highlight of the event, was met with resounding applause from teachers, dignitaries, and proud parents.

Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Vielung’s mother, Alice Adjua Yornas Bagbin, was present at the ceremony as a guest and presenter.
