SpaceFM Honours Duayawnkwanta Health Workers

The Management of Spacefm has held a dinner dance in honour of seven out going Health Workers of the Saint John of God Hospital for their meritorious services to the hospital at Duayaw Nkwanta.

The Bishop of the Goaso Diocese, Most Rev Peter Kwaku Atuahene thanked the out going Nurses for their good work for Duayaw Nkwanta and the country at large and asked others to do same.

He commended Space FM for its good work for the people of Duayaw Nkwanta and Ghana as a whole.

The Director/General Manager of Space FM, Mr Ransford Antwi, said the chief and people of Duayaw Nkwanta are so special to the company that is why it took that step to honour the workers.

He suggested to the out going Nurses to join hands to venture into other fields, such as baby-by sitting,among others, so as to stay active in their communities and to impart their knowledge to others.

Mr Antwi then gave out three (3) 14 inch colour television sets to three of the out going Nurses who have served the hospital for over 44 years.

The retired nurses are Mrs. Agartha Awuah Dwuma, Mrs Mary Adu- Aning, Mrs Agartha Yeboah, Miss Rose Donkor, Miss Mary Baffoe and Miss Mary Boachie .

The staff of the Hospital, led by their Administrator, Rev.Sister Comfort Michelle Apedzi , then took turns to shower tons of praises on Space Fm, for constantly doing things that the ordinary mind would always struggle to understand. According to the Administrator,she fore-sees Space Fm, becoming bigger in the nearest future and urged the Station to continue with its innovation.She singled our Mr.Ransford Antwi,a Director of the station for beeing a star that the youth in Brong Ahafo Region can look up to.
