South African High Commissioner bids farewell

Accra, Oct. 27, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Monday commended the out-going South African High Commissioner in Ghana, Dr Magang Mmereki Phologane for the improvement in the relations between Ghana and South Africa.

He said, “you are a good Diplomat, who managed to fuse the interest of both countries to a higher degree. This is a modest achievement to strengthen the relationship between both countries and wherever you would be assigned I hope you will work with distinction based on the experience and achievements from Ghana”.

President Kufuor made the commendation when Dr Phologane paid a farewell call on him at the Castle, Osu after a four-year duty tour. Dr Phologane expressed appreciation to the Government for the cordial relationship between it and the High Commission that made it possible
