South African Foreign Minister to visit Ghana

Accra, Oct 30, GNA – South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma would on Monday, November 1st, begin a three day official visit to Ghana as part of a five-nation West African tour.

An official statement said the visit is expected to strengthen the already cordial relations between Ghana and Nigeria.

While in Ghana Dr Zuma would pay a courtesy call on President John Agyekum Kufuor and hold talks Nana Addo-Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the Foreign Minister.

Dr Zuma would sign agreements with Ghana on the creation of joint commission for cooperation, avoidance of double taxation and cultural cooperation.

The two foreign minister are expected to discuss Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote D’Ivoire, Darfur and Democratic Republic of Congo.
