Son of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship founder arrives

Accra, Dec. 11, GNA – Mr Richard Shakarian, son of the founder of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship, arrived in the country on Tuesday to attend an International Breakfast Meeting which is being held by the Fellowship on December 15, 2007, in Accra.

Speaking to journalists on arrival, Mr Shakarian, who is leading a three-member delegation, said he hoped the meeting would raise more awareness in people on the need to include Jesus Christ in their business lives.

He said no matter how much progress one made, life was incomplete without the belief in God and salvation in His son Jesus Christ. He said the aim of the Fellowship was to win over men in high positions to believe in God and entrust their lives to Him. The meeting would be attended by the top hierarchy of the Christian Council, people in business and government officials, among others. The Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship, which was founded by Mr Demos Shakarian in 1953, now has branches in over 150 countries.
