Something good is coming – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo ended his tour of the Greater Accra Region on Monday with a call on Ghanaians to keep hope alive.

His reason was evident in an assurance he gave to the people: “Something good is coming.”

That was when he addressed a durbar of chiefs and people of Ogbojo, near Adenta.

It followed a request by the chiefs and people of the area that the government should consider building a hospital for them.

The last day of the tour took the president to Labadi where he addressed a durbar of chiefs and people of La, Teshie and Nungua.

President Akufo-Addo subsequently visited the landfill site at Otinibi, near Madina, to inspect the progress of work there and proceeded to a mushroom project site at Ogbojo where he commended them for a good work done.

He told the people of Adenta and the surrounding areas, “The plans for expanding water supply in the country are very active; I’m sure very soon Adenta will feel the plans.”

Throughout his address, President Akufo-Addo reiterated his commitment to fulfilling all the promises he made to Ghanaians during the 2016 electioneering campaign, which saw him becoming president. The president reminded them of the implementation of the ‘Free SHS’ policy, ‘one district, one factory’ and the restoration of the trainee teachers and nurses’ allowances alongside the fulfilment of many other campaign promises.

He, therefore, asked for their prayers and support to enable him carry out all his promises.
