Some members of #OccupyGhana have political ambitions – Casely-Hayford

A leading member of the pressure group, #OccupyGhana, Sydney Casely-Hayford has admitted that some members of the group have political ambitions, but insists that will not affect the core objectives of the group.

According to him, the political affiliation of members of the group is of no relevance to their collective decision to promote good governance in the country.

“None of my members has hidden where they belong to. There are one or two people who have political ambitions; yes! and what is wrong with that?” He queried in an interview on Radio Gold Tuesday.

He continued: “We are not hiding under any umbrella or any group. The simple thing is that I’m doing what I think is right and if you want to put me in a jacket because of what I think; that’s fine, but it doesn’t take away what I’m trying to do because my course is proper”.

He added that the group will use any means possible to achieve their objectives.

“By hook or by crook, by law or otherwise we will fix the problem so that we can actually manage the economy much better”.
