A retired Minister of the Methodist Church- Ghana, the Very Rev. Dr. J.A.K Bonful says since God sanctioned marriage between man and woman, society must not allow homosexuality and lesbianism to take center stage in life.
He said God put together husband and wife to perpetuate the human race.
Very Rev. Dr. Bonful said this while delivering a sermon to mark ‘Bible Sabbath’ as part of the Bible week celebration at the Takoradi Central SDA church.
The occasion was on the theme: ‘The Bible and National Life’. He said about 60% of Ghanaians are Christians and entreated families to bring up their children in the fear of God to foster peace and progress for rapid socio-economic development.
Very Rev. Bonful appealed to Christians and Ghanaians to be obedient to authority and asked leaders to submit totally to God.
Present at the meeting was the Assistant Marketing Programmes Officer of BSG, Mr. Emmanuel Opoku.
