Social welfare officer worried about illegal day care centres

Cape Coast, Jan 30, GNA – Mr Joseph Benle Arkhurst, the Central Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare on Monday expressed concern about the rate of springing up of illegal day care centres and orphanages in the regio

He said reports reaching his office indicate that, most of these centres do not have the requisite facilities to operate, thereby endangering the lives of the children sent there.
