Sixty-two file nominations to contest assembly elections

Nkawie (Ash), July 29, GNA – A total of 62 aspiring assembly members have filed nominations to contest the upcoming district assembly elections in 19 electoral areas in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District. Figures released by the district office of the Electoral Commission (EC) showed that three persons filed to contest the Nkawie-Panin seat, five for Nkawie-Kuma, two for Toase, and two for Koben-Seidi and one for Amanchia.

Others are three for Afari, two for Nerebehi, nine for Abuakwa, one for Asenemaso, three for Akropong, one for Atwima-Koforidua, three for Dabaa and five for Asakraka. The rest are two for Adankwame, four for Amakye-Bare, five for Asuofua, four for Barekese, two for Fufuo and five for Worapong.
