Six die in accident at Agosa

Agosa (B/A), Jul 12, GNA – Six persons including the driver died on the spot on Thursday, when the vehicle they were traveling on crashed into a stationary tipper truck at Agosa, near Nsuta in the Techiman district.

The bodies of the six identified as Amma Boahemaa, 26, Yaa, 22, Isaac, Menka, Benjamin and Salia Walla, have been deposited at the mortuary of the Techiman Holy Family Hospital.

Inspector John Badu, officer in-charge of Motor Traffic Unit at Techiman told GNA that the deceased were part of mourners convoying the body of a deceased from Amomaso, near Berekum to Ayerede in the Nkoranza district.

He said the driver lost control at a sharp curve and ran into the truck in the other lane.
