Six arrested, one seriously injured in Teshie clashes

Six people have been arrested at Teshie after some angry youth attempted to torch the King David Preparatory David School.

The irate youth allegedly being sponsored by a rival faction in a chieftaincy dispute on Thursday morning stormed the school and ordered the students and teachers to vacate the premises, amid threats of bringing down the school because the building was on a land belonging to their chief.

However, the Police managed to intervene in time preventing the irate youth from burning the school.

Six people have so far been arrested with one seriously injured after clashes between the two chieftaincy factions.

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire are also standing by for fear that the irate youth might carry out their threat.
