Sir John, NPP General Secretary at it again -NDC Ireland

We listened and were utterly dismayed by the answers of Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie to a simple question posed by Afia Pokuah on Adom FM Midday news this afternoon. It was a greatly disappointment to hear such words and the stance of the General Secretary on the heels of Kumasi Declaration.

It is obviously clear that he did not understand the essence of the Kumasi Declaration or blatantly ignoring the importance of it.

Afia Pokua asked if his party and the followers will comply with directives as to how people should behave on the voting day.

According to the PR of police, people should not remain at the polling station having cast their ballot. The directive further states that people could return to the polling station to witness the counting of the ballot papers after the polls are closed.

Mr Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie in his answer among other things stated that they will advise their people to remain at the polling stations until the ballots are counted.

We believe that this is not acceptable and should be condemned by every peace loving people.

We would like to emphasise that Mr Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie should know that rebellion and violence cannot win the NPP power. And the posturing by him and his candidate cannot coerce the peace loving Ghanaians to swim in their dirty waters.

Ghanaians want a peaceful election and that is why they would be voting massively for peace loving person-His Excellency John Mahama.

May the Almighty God give us a peaceful election on 7th December, as we go into the polls to elect Peace abiding and visionary President of our dear Mother Ghana. God Bless Mother Ghana
