NPP youth in Tamale Wednesday chased out the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, a.k.a Sir John from addressing a gathering of delegates in the residence of Mr. Roland Alhassan.
The action was in response to a failed promise by the chief scribe of the party to get a team of Lawyers to appeal in the incarceration of some of its members in a murder case.
But for the intervention of the regional executives, who whisked him away, the angry youth would have pounced on him.
Sir John seeks reelection in a contest many have described as straight win for Yaw Buaben Asamoah, who contested him in the last congress.
