Sierra Leonean President arrives

Accra, April 19, GNA – Sierra Leonean President Bai Koroma, arrived in Accra on Saturday to participate in the 12th meeting of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) scheduled from April 20-25.

He was met on arrival by Mr Akwasi Osei Adjei, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and NEPAD, received the 21 gun salute, after which the national anthems of the two countries were played. President Koroma later inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by three officers and 96 men from the First Infantry Battalion at Michelle Camp, under the Command of Captain Alfred Martei.

Other dignitaries at the airport to meet him were, members of the Diplomatic Corps, senior government officials and senior military and police personnel.
