Sick woman involve in car accident

Tema, Feb. 02, GNA – A sick woman who was returning from hospital at Tema was injured when the taxi taking her home was involved in an accident seriously injuring her and the driver.

Ms Paulina Kessie, aged 24, who lives at Kakasunaka near Michel Camp, was rushed to the Narh-Bitah Hospital treatment, while the driver, Mr Kwabena Bondzie 36, was also sent to the Tema General Hospital (TGH). When the GNA visited the TGH, the driver was being prepared for the theatre, while Ms Kessie was also being attended to.

An eyewitness told the GNA that Ms Kessie who went for treatment at the Narh-Bitah Hospital, chartered a taxi with registration number GW 8165 P to send her home.

On reaching a spot at Community One, Site Three, the taxi collided with a Hyundai truck with registration number GR 1759 P causing only the two occupants in the taxi, the lady and the driver to sustain multiple injuries.

The eyewitness said the driver of the Hyundai truck, Mr Abu Adamu and the other escaped unhurt.
