Tamale, Sept.17, GNA – The State Insurance Company Limited (SIC), has donated a computer and its accessories, valued at 10.9 million cedis to the University for Development Studies (UDS).
Mr Nurideen Moomen, the Northern Region Branch Manager of the SIC, who handed over the gift said it was part of the Company’s social responsibility to support the maiden University in the North.
Professor John B. Kaburise, the Vice-Chancellor, thanked the SIC, for the donation and the previous provision of accommodation to staff of the university. He said the UDS, as a young developing institution was saddled with many problems and appealed to benevolent organizations, to come to the aid of the school.
