Show that we’re useful – ‘Disabled’ DCE hopeful begs Akufo-Addo

A disappointed applicant for the Ejuisu Municipal Chief Executive position, Kwaku Twum Ntim has admonished the Akufo-Addo government to give attention to persons with disabilities as done by the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

“We were expecting that the government of Nana Addo will push some of our members somewhere to show we are also useful” the physically challenged NPP member anticipated.

“When you give a disabled person something to do we see it as a challenge and will do it well to prove that we are also equally good as you,” he revealed.

Mr. Kwaku Twumasi Ntim lauded the former President John Mahama for the appointment of Dr. Henry Seidu Daana who became Minister of Chieftaincy and Culture.

“With all the administrative scandals that rocked the NDC in office did you hear something from that ministry?. If you give me position I will do and do it well for everyone to know I have got the knowledge”

He urged government to put policies and programme to benefit the over million persons with disabilities in the country as everyone risk being disabled at any moment of life.

The ex-military man stated he was once an active person but got incapacitated after a lorry accident resulting in his current situation.
