Shocking! Prisoners sniff female panties for sexual satisfaction

Some male inmates at the Nsawam Prison have reportedly resorted to sniffing ladies’ underwear for sexual gratification.

The bizarre practice is said to be gaining grounds especially at the Nsawam Prison According to “Your Neighbourhood”.

The newspaper first broke the story; that friends and relatives smuggle the ladies’ underwear into the prisons at the behest of the sex-starved inmates.

Inmates who wish to satisfy their sexual pleasure through such perverse fetish craving pay one Ghana cedi for a three-minute sniffing period.

Those with transvestite craving pay between two and five Ghana cedis to wear the ladies’ underwear for two or three minutes.

Ghana‘s chief psychiatrist, Dr. Akwasi Osei, in an interview with XYZ News, said the practice is an abnormality grounded in what he calls a sexual orientation disorder.

“If your means of seeking sexual gratification is abnormal, we consider that as a sexual orientation disorder,” Dr. Akwasi Osei.

“This particular method that is seeking sexual gratification through sniffing or smelling the opposite sex’ panties…that is called fetishism”

Dr Akwesi Osei added that persons suffering from this disorder need to be treated.
