Shippers’ Council Commended By Three Committees

Accra, (GAR) – The three committees of the Ghana Shippers’ Council (GSC) today congratulated it for being adjudged the best in “African Professional practice in shippers organizations”. The honour was conferred on the Council by the Ministerial Conference of West and Central African States on Maritime Transport and the World Bank recently. In a message today to Mr. Mangos T. Addico, chief executive of GSC, they said the council deserves the recognition because of the quality of service it renders to importers and exporters. The committees are the import and export shippers in southern, northern and western Ghana based in Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi respectively. “The shippers’ committees are proud that the council’s invaluable services over the years have been recognized and appreciated internationally and hoped this would spur the council on to greater achievements”.
