Shelve politics for election time – Dep. Comm. Minister tells media

Reserve political discussions for election periods, Deputy Minister of Communication, Ato Sarpong has told the media in Ghana.

Sarpong has rather urged the media to use their resources into morphing a national mindset for collective development.

“Politics must be reserved for election years and the media needs to lead to this crusade”, he told an audience made up of captains of industry, politicians, media organisations, among others, at the corporate launch of STARR 103.5FM Friday night at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

“With the broadcasting tool available to you, you can redirect our energies and refocus our minds and directions as a people” he suggested.

“Our common efforts must be on growing the economy and creating an environment that generations after us will be proud of,” Sarpong advised.
