Sheila Buckman replaces Cephas Arthur as Public Affairs Director of Ghana Police Service

DSP Sheila Abayie Buckman has replaced Superintendent Cephas Arthur as the new Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service.

In a new transfer by the police administration, Supt Arthur has been moved to serve as the Commander of the East Legon District Command. His deputy, DSP Sheila Abayie Buckman, now serve as the new Director of Public Affairs.

Supt Cephas Arthur is the longest serving Public Affairs Director in the Fourth Republic. He served as the Deputy Director of Public Affairs under SP Kwesi Ofori.

In 2011, he was promoted as the head the Public Affairs Directorate after SP Kwesi Ofori was reassigned to the Tafo Pankrono Police station in the Ashanti Region.
