Shake-up hits senior police officers; SP Kofi Sarpong et al transferred

The Acting Inspector General of Police, David Asante-Apeatu, has rung yet another shake-up within the senior ranks of the Ghana Police Service.

Among the changes, which took immediate effect upon a press release on Friday, February 17, sees the Public Relations Officers (PROs) of the Ashanti, Eastern and Northern regional commands making moves.

Popular gospel musician SP Kofi Sarpong has also been transferred from the Ashanti Regional Command to the National Headquarters to be in charge of Procurement.
